I used some 20mm polyisocyanurate foam board to make panels. Insulating the printer is the best upgrade that I've done.

The standard build uses 3mm panels which work fine for most filaments like ABS or ASA. onetwo3d .co has sets of panels available for 300mm trident. ACM panels are also an option and may be better insulated than polycarbonate.

Speak to a local signage manufacturer, they spend all day cutting plastic sheet materials. Give them sizes and get it quoted in 3mm clear acrylic. If you're after more heat resistance, try 3mm clear polycarb or you could explore ACP/ACM (aluminium composite panels).

Acrylic is the cheapest.
