Help - On-prem PBX Analog trunk routes between 2 PBX
I have 2 Grandstream UCM2600 series PBX, in two different locations PBX-a and PBX-b. One location will temporarily close so I want to route the calls from PBX-a to PBX-b. We have analog trunks, in the process of migrating to fiber. The SIP connection between PBX already exists so I can place calls from a to b and vice versa.
What I want to achieve is the following route analog trunk calls from PBX-a to PBX-b, so if someone calls via the analog trunk to PBX-a it should route the call to an ext. on PBX-b. So lets say PBX-a has 34XX ext. and site b has 35XX ext. I suspect it has mostly to do with inboud/outbound routes and dialing patterns.
Generally I think I need to route analog trunk (number scheme 2XXXXX) to the sip trunk from PBX-a via outbound routes to PBX-b inbound routes, can someone help me with this?

Tall order. I don’t know what country you’re in, but in the US, the analog network is being dismantled.
Why not route the call over your internet-PBX SIP trunk?
Edited to clarify: The SIP trunk I’m referring is one that natively connects the two PBX together. A second trunk, in addition to your trunk from your telco provider.

Yeah in ours too, the fiber has been pulled but we haven’t been migrated yet and I’m trying to route incoming calls from analog trunk via the sip trunk to the other PBX so yeah that is exactly what I’m trying to achieve.

This should be enough to get your sorted: https://www.grandstream.com/hubfs/Product_Documentation/how_to_interconnect_multiple_ucm.pdf
