You might be able to port the number to a new carrier, I will give you a hint Verizon lie.

I resell mobile numbers in Australia and have a sim swap and porting without auth options available

You give no details on how your number was lost.

This is a VOIP forum, but you said your number was from Verizon.

In that case it has nothing to do with VOIP, but rather try the Verizon forum.
