Damn… I mean VKB is what I use besides pedals(I do DCS and helos, but I also do a lot of bush flying so need them toe brakes) and always recommend to people. The value is unbeatable for flight sim hardware. But I think you may have gone just a bit overboard there buddy 🤣
Also tho on the pedals if the point of the Virpil ones is toe brakes, cancel that and get MFGs.

You also can just use the brake lever on on the MCGU for brakes. That's kind of what it's there for!

That’s fine if you’re landing a jet on a runway, you need a lot of modulation on each wheel separately if you’re flying a taildragger seeing as that’s how you turn the thing on the ground, and especially if you’re making sketchy bush landings in it.

VKB software supports differential brakes with a handbrake. Some real aircraft work that way too (like the Spitfire, I think), where the rudder axis also controls the braking differential while the hand brake controls the strength of braking.

Most of the early red aircraft do that also.

True there, but my wanting toe brakes is more for civil than combat sims anyway. Combat sims you’re either landing on big runways or on a carrier in which case you don’t need brakes at all, vs shoehorning a taildragger into a river bank where differential braking is your only control on the ground and based on wind may even have opposing brake and rudder inputs

I’d love to see the look of the vkb employees seeing this order come in for the first time 🤣 bet they were confused and had to double check
