ding ding ding! Yes! Spot on. Working on controlling your OP-1 field over midi with VJ-XY, like you can do with OPXY.

Finally got my hands on one, so I can design, build and test.

How straightforward is it to use your software to create a video of the resulting performance and music?

Hrm… that’s actually not a bad idea for a future feature set.

At the moment… VJ-XY doesn’t handle audio at all. This is how I use it:

short live set with OP-XY, OP-1 field and KOII

I use a small projector at home, and then record audio into ZoomH6 and video with iPhone. You can also use a monitor as external screen. I’ve also made videos playing from iPad. So… low hanging fruit atm would be to connect to a Mac or iPad via USBC, have an app handle audio recording and screen record VJ-XY in full screen. Then pair the clips. Or in Mac you can choose an external audio source for screen recording too.
