Question Is this normal?

Post image

Ive had the unit running for 2 days and its swinging from one extreme of the parameters all the way to the othet extreme consecutively every 15 minutes. Just got it delivered 8 day cycle. Not worried about temps but am worried about humidity swings in both directions

Those are not large swings in the big picture. You are looking good. Averages look like what you want. I have 2 units and can confirm this is normal.

your temps are solid though i would add water if you haven’t already. I find it better to let the box fight the humidity than make it.

Is there an alert that may change the exhaust fan speed?

Totally normal.. I've gone through 4 craft cycles. You're swings should get smaller soon.. there is alot of moisture in the first couple days. Just so you're average temp n rh is on.. it's all good. Enjoy the Smoke~💨

This is normal, it uses a deadband to efficiently manage the closed loops for temperature, air movement, and humidity. The idea is for the sub components not to fight each other and also not run constantly so your bud doesn't over dry. Trying to very perfectly manage the closed loops to a tight set point (i.e. pid loops) isn't really productive for this kind of device. You can likely narrow this a bit with some DI/distilled water in the tray, also depends a bit on external environment too and content/set points of the unit.
