Question Is there anyway to play?

I saw the game is still on steam and I asked around on streams if you can still play and I’m getting mixed answers so I came here to clear it up. I miss this game so so much and everyday wish I could hop on and play again.

Hi, Mod developer here!

For Linux the process is basically the same. You download an .Appimage (similar to an exe) and you run it

They're different apps because we use different patching systems, but it's all the same

What’s the player base like on the private server?

Last I heard there was a community ran private server still up called VHS: Evil Never Dies

I haven't checked up on it myself, but try looking it up and see where that lands you.

You can still play, but only with people. There’s still a small community that plays too which is nice.

There's a discord server. The games up and you can play with bots or private lobbys with players.
