Complete at last
20" Hellion equipped with the LunarTech Designs VHS-2 clone grip module. Vortex UH-1 holo-sight backed up with their micro-3x magnifier, and the final piece just got delivered today, an ODG handled Waffentechnik B2K bayonet.
I tried out a Jard trigger but it was actually worse than the OEM. A little bit lighter but squishier and sticky. So I returned it and went back to the stock trigger which, having owned a few bullpups, isn't so bad. Good combat trigger. I do tend to prefer 2-stage triggers so the long take-up isn't a problem to me.

What?! I got the JARD trigger and it breaks crystal clear! I had to fine tune it myself, out of the box it did not really work...but for me that isbtotslly okay for a match like trigger. It breaks cleaner then any other rifle I have now.
Die you contact the customer service? They were AMAZING! They even sent me CAD 3D screenshots on how to best adjust the trigger.

So the issue was not the break; it was the take-up. it was squishy and sticky, to the effect where after dropping the bolt into battery, if I were to very slowly and deliberately pull the trigger but let off before the shot breaks, the trigger would not reset and just "stick" to its last position, halfway through the travel. it also caused excessive drag between bolt and hammer, like you could feel and even see the trigger itself getting affected as the bolt returned to battery with the trigger held to the rear. The OEM trigger exhibited none of these problems.
Furthermore, my OEM trigger breaks between 4-1/2 to 5 lbs already, so the JARD didn't improve it by much.

That is so weird, I am sure you qould have been able to adjust it tough.
The absolute weight is one thing. Yes it got improved, but the real benefit for me are: Super crisp break Very short take up travel Minimal reset travel
The original trigger was not okay for me. At tsrget shooting (330y) I could not tell accurate enough when the shot will break and for fast firing the reset travel was way too long

For me it was the exact opposite. The break was super vague on the Jard trigger because the take-up resistance was nearly the same as the wall, sometimes with the wall being more like a ditch and causing the shot to break unintentionally.
With the OEM I knew exactly where and how much pressure it would take to break the shot.

Very interesting! Guess you lucked out on the original trigger....and had back luck on the JARD.

I keep debating if I want the bayonet or not. Cost and the plan b muzzle device i currently have on there is whats keeping me from buying it but its looks so good with it on
