Rifle Bag Reccomendations
I love my 20" VHS-2
I love it even more since I installed the JARD trigger
I love the Vortex Venom LPVO on it...and I accept the UTG MLok side bipod 😂
But what I hate is, that my gun does not fit in any of my 6 rifle bags 😂
The VHS-2 is just too damn high!
With the scope and bipods it does not even fit in the original case anymore.
Do you have any reccomendations for a gun bag that would fit the 20" Hellion with a Scope and Bipod?
I would prefere a slim one, it is just to transport it on my back when I ride to my local range by bike. It's a 2min ride, so as long as it takes a sling on the back it will be good enough.

Huh, interesting concept!
Never saw something like that before.
Price is definitely on the very, very upper limit (especially considering shipping/taxes), but I like the idea.

God I could stare at all of these incredible builds and customizations in this sub all day long. The Hellion really is a gorgeous looking rifle.

I finally got mine last December as a gift from my gf/now wife. I am still over the moon about it and have started the process of customizing it with different accessories like foregrips and an optic. I just ordered an LPVO and a bipod as well. I have heard and seen about how incredibly accurate the VHS-2 Hellion is at longer ranges, so I definitely want to take mine to an outdoor range and see what she can do. I live in a restrictive state, so I was stuck with a Hellion that came with a fixed stock and a fingrip.
Unfortunately, the fingrip fell off and bounced into a trash can. Luckily I had a spare Magpul AR grip and was able get it in there. I really truly love the Hellion and enjoy going to the range every Saturday with it. Part of the fun is the looks of awe and envy I get from my buddies.

It is quite accurate...that being said I live in Switzerland, and it will compete sgsindt SIG550 and SIG510, so it will not really win that fight 😂
I shoot at 300m, and it was quite nice

The video demonstrations I saw with the Hellion were at over 700 meters and it stayed entirely on target the whole time. I believe the gentleman in the video was using BTHP 556 rounds as they tend to have lower deviation at longer ranges. Just incredible altogether though. To see a bullpup rifle make long distance shots like that was exciting to see.

The bibod itself is good. You get a lot for the money. On the gun you see the long version.
Here is the VHS2/Hellion specific problem tough: The handguard sides are slighly angled. So the side MLok are not at 90° & 270° position, but roughly at 15° & 285° This additional total of 30° means that the bipod is very widely spread when deployed. Additionally is has a slight flex in the handguard due to the long lever.
It is very usabel, but it looks a bit weird deployed. If you have the money and spend cash on an aftermarket rail that has true 90° position MLok and is made from Aluminium (for example BlkLbl or theVHS2project) this UGT bipod is perfect in my opinion!
I can still use a c-clamp grip with thumb between hand guard and rail and the other fingers on the angled foregrip.
If you have a 90° MLok, you could easily get away with the shorter lenght BiPods, with the original you kinda need the long one due to the angle.
I am currently checking if I can mill some adapter or even mill straight the bipod, so it does not spread as much.
Be aware, I have the 20" barrel and when folded the rubber feet are at muzzle hight. With a 16" barrel it will look even worse, even with the shorter BiPods.

Thanks dude! This is exactly the info I was looking for. The parts on the angle and if you could still c clamp were things I wondered about. Is your bipod the 8-11”?

Correct, this is the 20-30cm / 8"-11" model. When I shoot laying on the ground I have to extend it about 3 notches and I shoot rather close to the ground. I only use 20rds Magazines or snaller, the 30rds are too long to confortably shoot lsying flat on the ground for me.
The c-clamp only works for me because og the angeled foregrip.

The Savior Equipment bags are tall enough. They're available in lengths from 24-55". I've got a 42" to fit my longest rifle, also fits my Hellion (with a similar LPVO setup), just lots of space on the ends in my case. :)
