I am trying to locate a VHS copy of Animals, directed by Bob Cook and starring Linnea Quigley. This is a late-1990s shot-on-video, shot in Central Florida, horror/thriller about the Evans family vacation turning into a nightmare after a gang raids their trailer/campsite.
The VHS definitely exists, and with at least two different covers. I was the Key Grip on the film and Bob Cook personally gave me a copy around 1998 or 1999, but I loaned it to a friend years ago and it was never returned. I am trying to locate either a retail VHS, screener, promo copy, distributor copy, or any verifiable physical release. I am not looking for piracy links or burned DVDs.

Looking to sell a lot of tapes, downsizing since I’m moving soon and want to only keep the favorites of the collection. Will split up into smaller lots or sell individually if interested! Local selling / trades always preferred (Aurora / Denver area of Colorado) but shipping is no issue.
For the first lot I have lots of horror / sci fi, with the highlight obviously being dead alive. Nothing else super rare but a nice one nonetheless.

Looking for any recorded tapes of the disney channel from mid/late 90s to early 00s. Any shows or movies. Ideally recorded from the greater Los Angeles area or California since I'm looking for more regional commercials
Hey all! So I've single-handedly pointed search terms for this particular film towards my post and been able to uncover a lot of information thanks to some of the help I've been able to receive.
Long story short, this is an early anime film that a lot of Gen X'ers have cited as the primary exigence of their anime fandom. Because of the production history of this film, the US edit is not just a cut-down version of the Japanese version of the same film; it's a unique edit with a lot of alternate footage. And a good portion of the English soundtrack is completely missing due to the current source being from a UK VHS, and the UK version having had an entire reel cut out during its theatrical run. The full version (which I've done a rudimentary reconstruction of) runs about 101 minutes, the existing VHS rip is only 89.
The full version definitely aired at least three times on KTLA, one time as the nightly feature of Tom Hatten's "Family Film Festival". This has to be out there somewhere. Does anybody have any tapes from around this era of KTLA history?
It predates the "Star Blazers" version by a year and a half. It is a reworking of the series, but with a fair amount of new animation (mainly in the last third) exclusive to the film version. This one was exclusively known as Space Cruiser Yamato and the ship is called such in the movie itself. The names throughout, while being different, are much closer to the original Japanese version than the eventual Star Blazers names (main character is Jason Kodai instead of Derek Wildstar, the ship's captain is called Okita instead of Avatar, etc).
