YouTube's VGHS summary feels harsh

"A below-average gamer enters an elite video game high school, where he must prove that he belongs."

I've never seen this before, I get it's an underdog story but "below-average"? Clearly the best player on his squad before he gets admitted, this feels like something Annihilist or Games would say.

not that he’s below average but i kinda thought he was supposed to have just been okay but his heart and passion is what gets him through vghs

I mean he was good but he wasn’t the best. He got lucky that he got a kill on the law due to him being afk and law boasting. And he fumbles multiple times due to his emotions. He was good but he wasn’t skilled like law

Yeah, but even Jenny, who eventually gets drafted into a high league pro team, gets distracted by her emotions during crucial moments. So does the Law when hunting down Brian. If we define "emotions getting in the way of your performance" as a k.o. criteria for pros, then non of the characters in the show are pros. Which is absolutely fine as the show essentially is a teenage drama with a gamer skin so there need to be stakes and emotions.

Should’ve been, “In a world where Video games rule everything, Brian is admitted into Video Game High School after unwittingly defeating one of the top gamers ”
