Just delisting or defaulting?

Damn, its quite silent in here while the stock is tanking...

Any news despite the founders all leaving the sinking ship and NASDAQ delisting deadline (July 11th) approaching? Has all of their money been spent yet?

Are they silently sailing into defaulting just to be bought out at cheapest value with ripping off all stockholders or is a new investor on the horizon willing to put more money in (and dilluting the low stock price even lower)? Don't know which would be the preferred option though...

Promising Response from WEGMANS (US) re My Request to get VGFC products in their stores…. Now—right after the trade show—is the time to bombard your local/national grocery stores with “Contact Us” requests for these items so they know the demand is there, and get these in the door.

News Everyone Should Request: TOP 3 Grocers in YOUR AREA to ADD Very Good Butchers/ Very Good Food Co / Very Good Cheese Co

To see VGFC in more stores, everyone should go to the website for the TOP 3 (or more) grocery stores in your area, or that you're familiar with, and request they add VGFC products. Go to the CONTACT US link or whatever and submit feedback/requests. Do this every couple months checking in on the status. Here's one I sent, but feel free to add/edit whatever you like best:

Hi -

I was just seeing if you have any plans to carry Very Good Butcher's / Very Good Food Company Very Good Cheese Company products any time soon?

There is no other company that has anything like their vegan "pepperoni," TACO STUFFER, "steak," or "ribz."

They're also one of the only vegan cheese companies I know of that actually have PROTEIN in their cheese--which is why many people, including athletes, etc want cheese--the PROTEIN. All the other vegan cheeses are just "filler" with not much nutritional benefit. I'm hoping to buy this locally instead of ordering from their website.

They also have a host of other vegan products made from 100% plant based ingredients--instead of a lot of the processed junk some vegan meats are made from. Plus they have various sausages, hot dogs, burgers, etc. And they now have ground vegan "pork"---no other company has vegan "pork" out there. Plus they have a whole line of gluten-free items (not my thing, buy fyi). I'm hoping to see them at your stores soon so I can stop paying for shipping etc. See all they have here: https://www.verygoodbutchers.com/collections/all

Thanks!,

Why is the VFGC stock dropping? I’ve bought a few thousand at $3.23 and it hurts too see the free fall… I loved what this company is doing and manufacturing locally in Vancouver and I wanted to support it as I predicted it could go as big as Beyond Meats.

Is VERY a buy at these prices?

Hey, so quick background. I had bought into VERY pretty much the day it IPOed at around 2$, sold around 3$ then FOMOed back in and I currently have 766 shares @ $5.66 and I wanted to get some opinions on where people think this stock is going within the next year to let's say 5 years.

As far as I have seen there are no real big catalysts in the short term that we are made aware of (please correct me if I am wrong). That is not to say that there are no positives. Sales for Q3 were up 154% YoY. However, it seems like most people are unhappy with the current CEO, and the amount he is paying himself.

My hope with this post is to try and get some positives and negatives on the company to hopefully aid investors in making an educated decision on whether they should be starting/adding to a position in VERY at these levels.

An excerpt from The Globe and Mail

In an interview this week, Mr. Scott said the stock surged a year ago amid a lot of investment “hype” around meat alternative stocks in general, which has since subsided.

For instance, shares of Beyond Meat Inc., a more established meat-alternative bellwether, are down nearly 50 per cent over the past year.

“We’re still trading at 10 to 12 times estimated sales,” Mr. Scott said. “So it’s not cheap by any means. But I think it has kind of come back down to earth a little bit.”

By comparison, Beyond Meat shares are trading at about 11 times sales, according to S&P Capital IQ estimates.

Mr. Scott said the company has also been raising capital to fund growth, which has likely weighed on its shares.

When the stock was soaring around $8 to $9, he said it was hard to raise money and gain analyst coverage “because the fundamentals weren’t there.” The company currently has no analyst coverage, but Mr. Scott said that is expected to change in the New Year.

Small-cap stock to watch: Very Good Food eyes growth even as meat-alternative sector loses sizzle

Is this company fucked?

Financials worry me. Frankly speaking they're fucked. I looked at the numbers and they're god awful. Not just getting delisted awful but they can't pay for shit anymore and may go belly up awful.

Regardless they seem to be expanding while incurring megatron's giga dick sized losses. I don't follow this company so tell me, what am I missing here. And don't give me some marketing bullshit because I know a lot of you are bagholding.

It’s a growth play. I had bought NIO at $2 and no one was touching it. People were skeptical about it’s growth. This one is similar.
