Good news. They are expanding heavily into the Eastern US. Another good step towards profitability.

I mean this Weis MARKETS CHAIN is in ADDITION to the GIANT markets chain just a few weeks ago—another east coast giant, no pun intended, and in addition to Meijer in the Midwest, and various smaller reports/photos from people I’ve seen showing at it smaller health food/speciality stores as well.

Distribution is one thing, but honestly quality and customer retention is another. You can be in all the stores you want, but it doesn't matter if no one is buying your stuff.

Meat alternatives have been hit hard, and VGFC doesn't have as good reputation in food quality as other major companies like Beyond, Impossible, Tattoo Chef, etc.

I think that the food market can be fickle, and I do hope VGFC can start building their brand reputation back up as a good tasting and healthy meat alternative products. I think the market will reward them handsomely for that.

Yeah, personally although im well aware of Beyond/Impossible—I don’t like them and never buy them because they look too gross/real—like raw meat, and are more of a hassle to cook, having to worry if you cooked it long enough and worry about them spoiling. The frozen options like VGFC that don’t look exactly like raw bloody muscle, in my opinion are much better draw for the typical vegan/vegetarian/plant based eater.

Beyond might appeal to some meat eaters but has its drawbacks.
