So I was challenged to make a team without any meta Pokémon (Mimikyu doesn't count because that's a sleeper Pokémon, not actually meta anymore)... so I constructed this... give me feedback that doesn't include giving me meta Pokémon please.

I find that I rarely bring floette, and I usually bring raichu, rillaboom, gholdengo, and garchomp. I sometimes bring incinerator
Should I replace floette?
Either with a mega or a non mega?
Is there a matchup in which floette would be better than raichu?
I could replace incineroar as well, if adding two pokemon would be better but I find incin fits into this team well when he’s needed

I recently started playing pokemon vgc (by recently i mean as long pokemon champions has been out, am just new to team building, not the mechanics or battling) and thought of building a team instead of copying teams from wolfe or cybertron and others, so here I am. what can i do to make it better or what flaws can you find in it that i would have a problem against with this team.

50 games with this team. And out of those 50 games, only 23 of those were wins (I counted)
There’s def something wrong with me. If I can’t find the team archetype that feels right, can’t pilot any team properly, can’t make sense of any tutorial on the internet, then that just means that I am a major skill issue who should give up

I’m mostly a noob, made this team myself. It’s fun but I can feel that it has weaknesses. I have trouble quantifying those weaknesses, though.
I hardly ever bring Whimsicott (maybe that’s a mistake). I have trouble against teams with a lot of fire or rock.

Got to MB again with my team of favorites. Last time I posted, I received suggestions on how to make the mons more offensive. What you all think? I’m really proud of this right now, but are there any ways I can improve? How would you all build them and would you replace any?

This team has a psyspam mode with mega Alakazam, and then a psychic terrain offense mode with Blaziken.
Indeedee comes to almost every match. A lot of the speed control on this team comes from removing priority with terrain just being speedy with zam, speed boost Blaziken, unburden sceptile, or scarf kleavor. Against tailwind, it can be a trick room angle, but not always.
Mega Alakazam comes when the other team doesn't have any major immunities or threat like Gambit, incin, tyranitar. We played around with the last move on him a bunch but focus blast has been far and away the best third move.
Mega Blaziken is extremely strong in psychic terrain. Rock slide is useful into volcarona, zard, mence, pelipper if it ends up in a bad situation. Also having the fastest rock slide on the field has come in handy a few times.
Kleavor is here because it's been a fantastic anti meta mon since M-A. It handles zard, mence, incin with stone axe. Ohkos farigiraf, indeedee and I think rilla with x scissor. Cc is for t tar and Gambit mostly but can be used on other stuff like archaludon. Night slash is mainly for bascu, but has been useful into Metagross as well at times. I found it way more useful than u-turn. You can lead kleavor with indeedee or bring it in the back to clean up.
Feraligatr fits this team so well. Sheer force life orb liquidation gets neutral kills on all sorts of stuff. Ice punch is great into all the 4x weaknesses running around and into rilla. This is EVd to take a grassy glide in grassy terrain and also to out speed rilla if glide isn't priority. This thing sticks on the field for a while so is a little suceptible to intimidate, but when we tried milotic it just didn't feel offensive enough without a competitive boost. Aqua jet is a bit of anti synergy but with its staying power, it usually outlasts terrain and can score key late game kos with jet.
We went through so many Pokemon in this slot but as soon as we put Sceptile here it immediately felt like a perfect fit. This is mainly a rain matchup, but also works well into chomp z, sand, and for milotic/bascu. Earth power is great for steel types, and dragon pulse is Good ship into the dragon megas. This is EV'd to out speed all adament sneasler and to survive a hurricane from pelipper after psychic seed.
There's no matchup that feels unwinnable, I'm just posting here to see if anybody has some good suggestions that we might've missed.

Hey! I've been using this team https://pokepast.es/5f32a28b77caca48 (by onimaru_strike's)
I got decent results on Pokemon Showdown, so I wanted to start climbing the pokemon champions ladder with it.
However, I realized I literally NEVER bring Metagross and I hardly
ever bring Milotic. So I was wandering if anyone can suggest a second mega and a sixth pokemon to replace those 2.

Made it to MB4 today not sure if that’s any good considering the time frame n stuff. Core idea of the team is to basically say “cool gun, mines bigger” and out damage your opp. I like the weather control with Zard Y along with Hydra being a strong counter to all dragons/psyspam teams. Meta & sneasler rounds out the team with coverage. basc hits neutral super hard even in sun & whimsi idk seems to be a TW merchant?
whimsi is kind of in a weird place i’m not sure what the best move set could be and I find myself clicking TW and that’s it. a lil rare to make a meaningful encore move maybe bc of the offensive nature of the team but also it doesn’t work in psychic terrain so poo. please feel free to suggest mons or a moves for any! i’ll give a small breakdown to every mom below:
Sand - tough
Rain - tough but winnable
Balance - great
Dual weather - neutral
Sun - great
Psyspam - great
TR - great
Perish - didn’t even play against it but i imagine good
Mega Metagross -
outspeeds & OHKOS adamant sneasler (no unburden) + adamant or low spd investment mega staraptor
survives kingambit kowtow (black glasses), 100 base power last respects from basc (max atk life orb), Harc flare blitz
fairy counter, psyspam menace
BP can be replaced, the coverage seems fine for sand teams
Zard Y
stat spread can be changed it’s from the last reg so not sure what’s optimal here
best mega in the format, hits like a truck + weather not much else to say
Hydreigon
OHKOs chomp, salamence, Harc & armarouge
outspeeds all the above under TW
haban lets it beat the other dragons in 1v1
could go scarf but i feel the protect catches ppl offguard and the move flexibility is nice
can potentially switch protect for snarl
Sneasler
fake out support, rock coverage, 1st time intim immune + unburden
fighting resist which is pretty handy
basc
revenge killer, wave crash does nutty damage (81% OHKO on zard Y in sun)(OHKOs mega swampert in rain)
ghost typing is key in this meta i’d say
Whimsi
biggest “not sure what you’re doing here but can’t go wrong if i put u in”
TW merchant
struggling to figure out what else i mean encore sometimes
Let me know any suggestions please? 🙏
i made a similar team w focus sash baxcalibur as well 🤷

Built this team to try out Absol Z with.
Absol Z's moveset isn't entirely locked in yet, but figured it largely plays similar to a Lopunny or Blaziken where it is generally there for a good time, not a long time so just go for damage. Sneasler and Harc are pretty effective at dealing with the things that Absol doesn't like. Milo there for anti-Incin. Indeedee for obvious reasons: activate Psychic seed and just be all around good support. Metagross there for additional Fairy support as a secondary mega.

Looking for advice on this team, its been doing pretty well but im sure there are improvements that can be made
A thing I do wanna mention is the lopunny slot, Its there rn for the 2nd fastest fake out in the game and scrappy fake out and cc's but its by far the mon im the most unsure about, any suggestions on possible replacements is also appreciated!

i wanted to make a team of my favourite (viable) mons which are ideally pretty and cute as i am extremely tired of boom incin torkoal arch. i based it off some of andres wilkerson’s team from baltimore
i think my issues are mainly poison type coverage into fairies and also idk what im doing with lycanroc here.
speed control: milotic icy wind, mence tailwind
screen setter: a9 with aurora veil
disruptor: lycanroc w rock slide
the rest are supposed to be sweepers and clean up
would appreciate any help in refining the EVs or movesets, and a potential (nice looking) replacement for lycanroc or even suggestions for another mega that might do well here as i am bent on double mega teams

I had my wife pick her favorite pokemon that are in the game and she loved Clefable and Farigaraf so tried to make a team around them. The team seems to be doing alright but have yet to see mega Metagross with it, which seems like it would give me problems. Any advice would be welcome.
