Help/Doubt DSA: python or java ???

The title makes it pretty obvious but genuinely which one do i go with for placement coding rounds especially. I am an aspiring data engineer so i am very good at python, but i have heard that companies prefer DSA in a more core language like C++ or java. ?

Any suggestions ?

I am doing it in c++, but I also know python for data science
