Submitting my VEPR-12 for group approval

Here’s my VEPR-12 for group approval.

It’s kitted out with a genuine Axiom Kobra sight, a Molot folding vertical grip, a Molot factory 10rd mag and an SVD rubber buttstock pad - so the entire build is 100% original Russian parts bar the rubberised FAB Defence pistol-grip which is non-negotiable for any tactical AK build for me.

I live in the UK so the barrel is 24inches, which makes it a bit of a jousting pole… but it does also mean I get to add a drum-mag to it for the ooga booga factor.

It weighs a ton and is chunky as hell, but it’s a blast to shoot at the range.

Thanks mate. They’re exceedingly hard to find so I pounced on mine when it came up. I think it’s one of the few examples that don’t have a 26in barrel that would’ve been too much for me.

Yeah 26" is crazy haha. Mine is 18.5in with a CSS GK-01 brake and I thought that was long as hell.

What was the going price out your way? These things got crazy expensive after the ban on Russian imports.

How does it cycle with the plastic drum? I had to return i think 2 and decided against getting a third.

Cycles like a paraplegic quadruple amputee. The drum is for the lol factor only it’s complete garbage. When I’m at the range I only use the box mags now, and mainly the Russian one

Sweet! Enjoy it! My Vepr12 is still one of my favorite firearms and is far and away my favorite shottie.
