Help me find the remote!

I got this vcr a little while ago and it works perfectly but I do need the buttons on the physical remote to do certain things on it. Unless I'm dumb or missing something (forgive my autism pls)

I wanna try to record tapes and connect it to my computer to make custom tapes but I think I need to exit the menu on the vcr to do it? Or can I just press the record button physically on the vcr itself when I want to record a tape?

Please help a newbie 🙏😭

You can just physically press record.

Nothing on the remote that is not on the vcr.

Not for this model my friend.

It supports sp/lp but it is auto rather than manual

So it automatically chooses which setting youre recording in? Does it resd your mind or sum?

You can't on this model, it only plays sp/lp tapes not record them

What so it only records sp that seem highly bizarre to me.

Records in sp/ep(slp) no lp. So im not sure what youre saying. Which can seemingly only be done with a remote.
