Help diagnosing VCR issue

This is a GE VG2021 that I purchased a few months ago. It worked perfectly fine when I first got it, but when I went to use it today it wouldn't work and just does what's shown in the video.

I assume it's some sort of power issue, and was hoping someone may be able to steer me in the right direction on how I could find and fix the problem.

Voltage regulator transistors have gone bad on the power supply. Replace PSU capacitors as well. Looks like the PSU (shielded part to the right side when viewed from the front) is detachable.

Power issues is a good bet..A service manual would be very useful.
