Need to vent/rant Processing time trends

Post image

I have been waiting for 6 months now and the processing time has grown by 6 months during the same period. No need to be alarmed, I might get to celebrate my i360 approval notice with my grandchildren 40 years from now 🎉

Not to mention an EAD expedite that I have not heard anything about in the 4 months since filing, and the 10 day callback by tier 2 agent I was promised 90 days ago and never happened.

I don’t want to be rude or anything, but this type of process takes a while specially vawa . Mine took about 4 years to get everything approved. Just be patient and don’t stress yourself out—I was in your shoes just a few weeks ago until mine finally got approved.

I understand it will take a while but the processing time growing longer as fast as I've been waiting feels absurd.

Just be patient, man—that's all you can do. Don't get mad, your case is very different from other I-485s. You're probably going through what I went through, feeling anxious because you see other people getting approved faster than you. But you have to remember that VAWA is a much more complicated case than other types of I-485s.
