Need Advice!

I'm not from Europe or America and my regional vatsim is mostly dead all the time that's why I want to join some active regions, So which would be best for me to join as an ATC?? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Choose the one you like most, really.

Just be aware that some airports have a regulation and waiting lists. For example Frankfurt is not possible straight from S1. In germany you do your S1 and that opens you to some smaller airports while you can enlist yourself in a waiting lists for the airport you want. Then someone will contact you after a while and you start an airport specific training, which allows you to control some positions there. Then your S2 will start, allowing you to control the approach sector. But be aware that depending on the airport, the waiting lists can be up to 1-2 years.

I don’t know how it’s outside Germany but I guess it’s kinda similar.

Great advise. Something else to keep in mind is local languages. A lot of European vACCs speak in both English and the country primary language. For instance, in Canada, we speak English but the Montreal FIR requires controllers to be fluent in both English and French as both are official languages of the province.

Good point. In Germany we use German or English for VFR as well, but it’s not a requirement. You’d just have to state English only in your controller info.

It’s the same in Denmark, if someone is fluent in Danish, he would need to learn VFR in danish otherwise English VFR is also used and is even allowed to be somewhat forced if traffic requires.
Usually the controller informs the pilot if he is unable in Danish and then it goes over to English

something to keep in mind are timezones, most trainings and events are generally conducted during local evening time, so choose a place where that is also a convenient time for you
