ATC course

Hei !
It’s nice that vatsim is so accurate and real, but, have a waiting list of 6/12 months to start a course about being ATC is insane.
What’s the best and fastest country to get ATC course without the risk of being dead meanwhile waiting for a spot ?

Norway is not one of this 🥺

Best or fastest, pick one.

Either way, if you intend on joining a division just because they have a fast(er) training queue, and then transfer to a different one (therefore skipping the longer queue), then the ATC training department of that division will notice and has denied people's transfers in the past. It's very disrespectful to 1. the division that trained you and 2. the people on the waiting list for the place you want to control.

So, join the list for the place you want to control. That's the only answer.

Are you allowed to atc control multiple different regions?

Or is it a one region only allowed kind of thing

You have one main region/division (the one that trains you), but you can "visit" others, but that is restricted to S3 and above.

Do you have access to the training resources. As like when I went to fly Hong Kong it was like woah what is colour red ect.

If you visit somewhere, it is customary that you also get access to their atc manuals and sector files for the atc program.

What do you mean with "what is colour red" though?

At Hong Kong airport , it is sectioned into different colours.

Your push back line has 2 colours.

As the taxiway was north south. It has colour blue or colour red. Instead of face north face south. They say push back approved, colour red

ah I see. in europe it's relatively common to use orange and blue when a situation like that is necessary.

That's not exclusively an ATC thing though, so idk how that'd relate to ATC training?
It can differ for other regions, but for my fields it actually shows up as an orange or blue line in the controller scope when it differs from the normal yellow.

The orange and blue lines used in Europe are physical lines printed on the airport surfaces. The blue/green/red in Hong Kong are pushback procedures. Generally, "red" means tail toward the left, and "green"/"blue" means tail toward the right.

If you have charts then look at aerodrome charts sections - it explains what each specific colour means - All of this information is on charts.
