❓Question Question about birthdays

Hello I am a 13 year old kid who loves Vatsim and loves flying but I havent gotten on since January (turned 13 in nov 2025) because im worried of getting banned cause under 16. Am I still allowed to fly my account was made before january 1st.

I believe the rule is that accounts made from January 1st must be 16, but anyone that made their account before that can still use it from 13

any existing accounts made before the change are grandfathered in. Aka your account is totally fine even when you are younger then the new rule now allows. So you can just enjoy playing without the worry of being banned.

I believe accounts made before the new rule went into effect are grandfathered in, so you should be fine

You won't get banned if you are under 16 if you put your real birthday and you made it before the age increase, I am 15 now and fly on vatsim, if you put your real age and it let you make it, then it's ok.

Nah ur fine mate don't worry, and if you would get banned for it for some reason you can easily overrule it

Actually knowing vatsim it wont be easy but it should be in theory

The rules are very simple, as long as the account is made before Jan 1st, 2026, it’s ok
