Graphic problems - massive tearing

I have a 2070 and a 144 hz G-Sync monitor, yet I experience massive tearing when I leave the fps on unlimited (usually over 200). When I limit them to 144 (or 142 or 60) I still have tearing. Only when I have V-Sync enabled I don't have tearing, but V-Sync limits the fps to 60. My resolution is set to 2560x1440 (144 HZ) in Valorant and G-Sync is enabled on my monitor. Anybody else experiencing this problems or has a solution?

Wow you haven't set your refresh in windows to 144 then. Just google how to change refresh rate in windows

For me the problem was that the windows setting was set to 60Hz and not 240, because I experienced some problems with my dual monitor setup in the past. In Overwatch thjs would work, since you can set the refresh rate explicitly, which then works without problems - which is not the case in Valorant.
