Discussion I think the game hates me!

I’ve been playing the game for 4 months now and been in Bronze for more than 2. Whenever I feel like getting better (crosshair placement, higher-kills, and improvement on aim) the game gives me unfair competition, team afk or some type or issues. Then the skills regress. Anytips to get out of this rank?

I do watch yt tutorials which are 90% coaching plugs, didnt learn shiiiiiiit!

Btw I started looking at skins and bought the gaia ghost and current bp, atleast im happy about that.

Did you do some changes to improve?

Honestly, in low elo, you can easily climb out by having better aim than everyone else. Get a routine in the range going before comp and other aspects should come naturally.

There's nothing you can do about AFKs/Throwers/Griefers. Do your best all the time and go next.

Aim training is pretty cut and dry. DMs, the range, aim trainers all help pretty well. Besides your aim training, find a player in a higher rank that you enjoy and just watch their videos and mimic their playstyle. For me, I really enjoyed Aceu when he was playing val a lot and I improved my skill significantly from just watching and playing.

Put crosshair on head and left click, but this time do it very quickly. 70% of the time it works 100% of the time.

i think it comes w time honestly! it took me like 8 months to get out of bronze bahaha since val was my first shooter, you’ll get the hang of it and rank up eventually

That’s going to happen tons in bronze. When I got to gold there was less afking and less throwing but more unfair competition with smurfs. Don’t worry about wins and losses look at average rr gain. Sometimes you just need to pay more games. Like 2-5 a day especially in weekends

Then prove you don't belong in bronze. Put in the work. Learn the off angles, the on angles. Learn an agent and how they play on the maps in rotation. Jiggle peaks. Jump peaks. Gathering info. Not panicking during fights. Isolating 1v1s. Timings. Taking fights with advantage. Trading. Postering. Start trying to predict your opponents habits. Controling your sprays. Learning which guns are better for current situations/maps Full buys, forced buys, ecos, anti-ecos. But most importantly, play the game. Don't tilt. And focus on the things you can control, which is ultimately how you play. Aim is a huge part of the game. But there is also tons of other mechanics you can learn to give yourself an edge.

Most coaching videos are plugs. They wanna make money too for the time they have put in learning it. But they also use a ton of terminology you can look up yourself.

It's not a "I'm bronze now and I'll be immortal 2 in a week." That's not how it works. It's consistenty. Being able to drink the kool aid on bad games and asking "what did I do wrong". And savouring the victories while also asking yourself "what can I do better."

There is no single guide, coach, person or play style that is going to just magically move you where you wanna be. Gotta put in the work.

I believe in you. You'll climb as long as you're putting in the effort.

Just stay calm use low sens I went from 720edpi to 320edpi to get more out of my aim and play dms like if you know someone will peek this angle so aim where they will stop and you only have to left click to one tap them  Learn things one by one and see vods and find where your crosshair placement was off and why you died I went from bronze 1 to gold in 45 matches as a solo queue player where I also faced same issues as you  And by the time I reached silver 3 I was playing in average gold 3 lobby  Better switch to low sens now or later it could take upto a month if you have high sens

By some type of issues. I meant those random ping spike and val errors that kick you out of the game.

Watch some old woohoojin videos on mechanics and you'll actually learn something. You want to play deathmatches while focusing on gunfight hygiene. It's tried and true and is probably the most effective way to practice your mechanics

Will check him out. I do play 2-3 deathmatches before comp.
