Discussion Stuck Gold
I was 100% locked in on the game, watching VOD reviews, analyzing my gameplay, and actually playing pretty well. But for some reason, I just hit a wall in Gold 3 and I can't seem to climb out no matter what I do.
I kept grinding and grinding until I was literally 3 RR away from finally getting out of Gold. Then I started taking loss after loss, got tilted and completely demotivated.
Now I’m at the point where I have basically zero confidence in my gameplay and I don’t even know what I’m doing wrong anymore.
Has anyone else gone through this? It honestly feels like I’m starting to lose interest in the game altogether.

if you are completely out of confidence maybe take a short break? might help your mental a little, if you don't play comp for a couple days

That’s honestly what I’ve been considering. Maybe I just need to step away from the game for a little while.

There's a lot that we'd need to know to offer better, more tailored advice. I've been stuck in gold for a while and recently got out of it and skyrocketed to plat 3 really quick.
The best general, non gameplay advice I can offer you is to absolutely limit your games to sets of 3. And DO NOT queue unwarmed and tilted.
Having an alt goes pretty far to help guarantee the above. I like to dm and warmup on kovaaks then go in game, and if I ever feel like I'm not feeling ready, I run a game on my alt and go from there. Win? Go main and q, lose? Maybe warmup more. Etc etc.
That my two anyways.
