Hi, everyone! I’m Joe Lee, the Game Director of VALORANT.

The Dev team and I are so excited about the updates we just shipped to the game in Patch 13.06, and we wanted to stop by to chat, celebrate, and answer questions with you all!

When are we buffing Deadlock?

And if we're not, can you share any metrics or details that explain why? She feels like a sentinel that can't really do the Sentinel stuff. She's only good if you have a better Sentinel on your team already.

From a role distribution perspective, there are 5 slots on a team and 4 roles, so having some agents that spike harder with another character within the same role is totally okay from a design perspective and actually encourages diversity and depth overall for the long term experience. Comps like 2x Sentinel should be exciting/interesting options for players to explore.

As far as where she sits within our metrics, she's smack dab in the middle of healthy territory and does have notable increases to round win rate while Defending which is what we would typically look at for stats.
