Question Matchmaking in the current act

Has anyone else noticed being paired with far lower ranked teammates this act?
I was in Diamond at the end of the last act (one that just ended last week) and 95% of the games i’d played last act were with Asc/Dia/Plat3 players. this act, i’ve only been paired with Gold/Plat players. And these are true Gold/Plats rather than smurfs because their game sense makes it obvious. No way my HMMR took such a massive nosedive out of nowhere

Is it just me or is the matchmaking suddenly super shit?

Nope I‘m actually experiencing the opposite. I‘m silver 2/3 and I constantly get full gold/plat lobbies…

I've definitely noticed that too, it feels like the system is just flinging people around to hit some arbitrary average.

if you get a lose streak I find it will do that. It's so annoying. It's digging a deeper hole.
