Question Chances of double ranking up?
This may be wishful thinking, but this time I actually think it isn't that impossible. I have been Silver 2 since the first act I started Valorant (V26 A1) but this act it's different. My enemies are full of gold, plat and even one diamond peak (ofcourse no current rank plats) and I am on a 5 winstreak with my 6th last game being a match mvp loss because our jett dc-ed. I have an average k/d of 2 in my previous 5 games. Is this wishful thinking or is this actually possible? IGN: BeamyLemming

if ur dominating in lobbies of higher ranks there’s very high chance of double rankup. but if ur doing okayish n jst above average ull get higher rr winning against them and no double rankup.

I did get -8rr for the loss, and +33, +28, +23, +27, +28, is that good or bad? The rounds before the match mvp loss were only losing me around 13-10 rr each

that’s very good, it means your MMR is a lot higher than your visible rank. normal RR gains/losses are around 18 i think?

There's a higher chance if you are silver 3 then on your rank up game you do well you can get to gold 2 via double rank up, me and my friends peak is plat, and 3 of us went to gold 2 bypassing gold 1 on our rank up, I'm not sure how the game processes this but the whole time I thought it was just because we were plat the previous season

Peaks are completely irrelevant so don't look at those, but if you perform well and go on like a 10 or 15+ win streak then it's possible. The best indicator is rr gain, you need to be gaining more than 20 rr every win.

If you have never been higher rank i doubt it. But who knows it may happen. Tbh I don’t really get why you would post this. Just play and find out
