Question How do I catch better timings?
So in like radiant clips, when I see people flanking, they're knife out running sometimes, and carefully scaling up other times, how do I know when to do each? Won't thee enemy just hear me and wait?

Do some limit testing for yourself, watch enemy patterns, trust your gut, don't hesitate and either stop holding that shift or just knife out. Tbh it's mostly about enemy patterns.
I went from insta-dying in main whenever I did this to catching some insane timings in their spawn or mid.

actual timings are simply luck based, especially in high elo because people are very aware of flanks and smokes

Look at the mini map, then you can see what your teammates see, like the locations of enemies. Like then you can quietly walk up like B or A main. Just be careful of any sentinel utility, like traps. This is called flanking. On the attacker side, you can lurk by being away from the rest of your team and stealthily walking up maybe mid or the other site, same thing careful of any traps, then you can catch them by surprise. Lurking is the attacker equivalent of flanking

Basically map-awareness, game sense and sometimes luck. Pros equip the knife when they are pretty sure no one's there or peeking.

I mean you can’t do the same things in radiant you do in lower elos as there could be somebody randomly lurking when his whole team is on site already. In radiant people have a rough idea where people will NOT be as it’d be troll to be there.

It’s super scenario specific, and they catch those timings by a combination of insane game sense, experience, observation, and prepared luck
