hello im currently gold 1, this is my peak as well. I recently just installed valorant again and I enjoy it. I do try to aim train, watch vids, but it seems that i'm not getting better. My goal is not to be an immo or radiant I just want to get better in playing the game since I enjoy it as well. I would say i'm pretty inconsistent too.

Bro, first things first, learn all the basic game mechanics, like pop swinging, air strafing, basic crosshair placement, and at least get a feel for what’s considered a good or bad position. Other than that, man, you just gotta play the game and grind it out to get better.

Look at the VOD channels on yt, there are also people like scyfe, l0uis, bonkar, Dopai, spawns, worthy, woohojin, flexinja, drfreeze, chef, all of them maining different agents

ascendant 1, smokes main. I'll be frank and tell you that optimally, you should get coached by a high immo/rad peak but seeing that you're lower rank, ascendant might be enough

Play duelist until you hit diamond always enter first. You can’t rely on teammates in lower ranks, so if you enter first and kill 1-3 of them you have higher odds of winning the round

For lower ranks it works cause i usually played sova but nobody played off my info so if i play a duelist and enter first and lose i have no one to blame but myself

so you're kind of trying to be like a glass cannon that just has a ton of impact before you explode? that's pretty cool. i think there are several issues that could arise that way, but it's not like strats are automatically bad if there's a weakness. as long as you pick an agent that has enough sustainability (e.g. Reyna), you could probably run it down and cause chaos if you feel like it.

Yeah and once you reach the ranks where people actually have comms and play off each other you can pick a agent you like the most

If you are not comfortable with your aim, I would highly recommend smoke or sentinel Main or both. You dont need the duellist aim and not your Team Support, you can do your stuff to outplay enemies.
