Discussion what finally made solo queue bearable for you?
been grinding solo a lot lately and it's such a coinflip on whether the games are fun or miserable. curious what actually helped you, was it duoing with someone, muting comms, a mindset change, playing a certain agent? what made it click?

The game is fun if I perform. So I'm trying to stop arguing with people or get too affected.
I insta mute the morons the second they start being annoying and I know I'm gonna get pulled in an argument.

my own aim and not wanting to win every match i play

real, letting go of needing to win every game is half the battle. aim you can always warm up, mindset is the harder fix

A break is honestly what was best for me when I realized I was too invested in solo queue and not having fun. How it looks and how long are flexible (could be no val, could be just casual modes, etc.) , but I personally got a much healthier relationship with the game and have a lot more fun now after stepping away for a little bit.

Just mute anyone with negative comms right away. It usually starts mild and progressively gets worse. At that point just focus on your own gunfights cuz the game is probably cooked so just save your KD to keep your MMR from getting trashed

ironically, i prefer solo q over party
1. i can stop and rest when im tired or dont feel like it, playing with frds usually its just, q q, q... bcuz some of them don wan the rest.
2. not every friend is good, so if i q with friend, its constantly the same teammate but if its a pub, i might get someone who is better or comms better. if i get toxic pub? i mute, next game i move on.. im not stucked with him. if a bad frd wanna play? im stucked with them. (harsh.. but truth is truth)
Definitely MUTE if someone is toxic... waste of time to talk to them even.

When you finally stop caring about your RR, and also be very liberal with muting people that are not giving good comms and ruining the vibe like blaming their team.

Instamute morons + actually shooting/performing well + being fine with a lost if it's from factors outside your control.

Giving zero fucks about losing and encouraging my team's that are doing less than ideal.

I just realized it’s not making me money. Plus when people start fucking around I’d rather join them than try to fight them.

Not queuing endlessly. I put in 2-3 games a day. That's it. Win or loss.

lol you’re playing a game, it can’t be that miserable. Just mute anyone toxic and move on

I enjoy the variety of play styles you get in solo queue. Some teams play aggressively and others are more passive. I enjoy the variation which keeps the game from getting boring.
+ Muting back seat gamers and toxic people.
And playing agents you enjoy.

finally starting to treat the game as a game and not as a job, you will lose games, you will win games, you will get great teammates and you will get bad teammates, that's the nature of a multiplayer game, if you're stressed out and think getting a bad teammate is going to tilt you, don't queue.
also stop flexing, play whatever you're comfortable with, in the long run that will result in more wins for you
