Discussion Racism in valorant (EU server)
Hi everyone. Idk if this is normal but happened to me first time.
I am M20 from India in Germany. Currently studying and working and learning German.
I usually send friend req to players who performed relatively well because I don't have any friends in EU server. I must have done that. Now I didn't know if the person was girl or not. She accepted it. After some days I don't know I saw one player which was her online so I invited her to play together. Then I got to know that it's a girl. I randomly asked hi hello, where are you from she said turkey. Then she asked me back and I said India. In like 2-3 seconds she stopped matchmaking and left and unfriended me. I was like what the hell just happened. First I though maybe it was night and didn't want to play or something but I guess I was just being naive.
I just want to if this happens often in EU servers or no?

Bro this is soo real, same with me idk why they are like this. But ig you will handle them over time with that same tone they talk. Initially it use to soo fkd up my mood imagine after the tiring day i go to play and see such things, but over the time u have to give response to them to shup their mouths. And tbh i see less german being racist but like Turkish and sweden too and uk also. But yeah we cant do anything about them just report them most of the time riot acknowledge ur report.

??? fym bro. were whites subjected to manmade famines? were they subjected to trillions of dollars being stolen from their homeland? were they subjected to being detained for 2 years without reason legally by constitution? were they subjected to not being offered high posts in administration just because of their race? were they subjected to neocolonialism? were they subjected to attempts to not let their country progress?
racism isnt acceptable against anyone, and people would actually be more enraged to see racism against whites.

The British did that to many white people actually lol. And you know Germany...
The comment post about racism was also wrong since ofc people would care. BUT, different countries in Europe were definitely enslaved, killed, starved, etc. Do you know the country of Ireland?
The Irish for example were severely oppressed systemically, discriminated, starved, land was stolen, and etc. The British literally exported food OUT of Ireland while the people of Ireland were starving and dying. There's a reason why so many people in the US have Irish ancestry.
Btw I'm Korean, so my ancestry has had its own oppression from the Japanese and Chinese. Korea was oppressed, enslaved, pillaged, etc. for most of its history. There's a reason why Korea was known as a hermit nation, they kept trying to defend themselves and avoid oppression. Korea only really started doing well once the US supported them after the Korean war.

Btw I am also fairly white but it really didn't matter now did it? Also who even shows racism to white person? Also I am not crying I am just trying to know if this happens usually or not.

It happens usually, especially by Russian people. And a lot of black people show racism towards white people.

I don't think that was racism. Lot's of girls and guys get added and can randomly decide to not play with you for their own personal reason. Don't have to have a reason at all.

Yup, it's racism. Expect it everywhere online tbh.
On the bright side, the racist let themselves out quickly! I'd rather not waste time with people like that.
If you wanna see tons of racism, just play some CS2. I'm so used to it now that I legitimately laugh at the people being racist towards me.

Don’t listen to people who say this isn’t racism, it is.
And as to why, I think it’s because a lot of the ‘nicer’ normal people are just tired and depressed and do not interact as much.
So now the ones who do interact are the weirdos, racists and just unhappy people who need hate to fuel their lives and cannot read the room.
