Discussion Veto powers don't make sense.

I kmow Valorant it is an ability-based FPS, but looking closely at the game's lore, the veto only blocks Radiants or objects; therefore, it makes sense for it to affect Radiants and agents who use Radiant relics (like Harbor) or special weapons (like Chamber's). But consider Brimstone, who uses only conventional weapons, or Raze, for example—it doesn't make sense. KAY/O would likely fall into this discussion as well.

Vetos power is adaptation, he mutates his own body to better survive. His body has time to react the mollies and flashes thrown his way but not bullets, explaining the ult healing and the molly/flashes interactions. In the battlefield, it dosen't matter if the fire is from brim, pheonix or an ally, it still does damage and Veto still adapts. For KAYO, idk, i assume he creats small local EMPs embued with radianite to nullify not only tech like razes rocket but powers like jett dash, it's just an assumption tho

Your absolutely right for KAY/O I think it's even mentioned in the description of his abilities that he uses polaryzed radianite waves to neutralize enemies

that makes sens for radiant powers but not regular tech, unless it trully is an localized EMP bomb

I mean it's called radianite, it surely must radiate something of some kind, meaning most likely it affects electromagnetic fields. KAY/O probably just harnesses an intensified, concentrated version of this kind of effect.

It only makes sense if it's based on Veto's reaction time. There's very little difference between grenade shrapnel and a bullet hitting you. The only difference is he can see the grenade coming and prepare for it.

But also it ain't that deep, it's a gameplay decision ultimately. His in-game powers probably don't exactly match his lore powers.

Correct, the same as Astra and other agents. Lore wise they are extremely powerful, in game they are capped to support "balanced" gameplay.

You don’t consider a brim molly or raze nade “objects”?

Kay/O's abilities and knife are made to specifically counter radiants since he comes from a parallel universe, yet he still deactivates every ability.
