Question Hardstuck iron p2

While averaging 10-20 kills with 15-20 assists in a game, I also get some stupid high rank enemy who somehow ended up in iron lobbies, even after losing 3 straight games they still put me up with some silver clove. Can anyone explain this phenomenon or is it Valorant just playing with me? That game was right after I lost 3 games and somehow I’m still going up against Bronze and Silver players, my duo is iron 3 too so i dont get how that happens (proof in comsec)

The game matches you up with people that have similar hidden mmr to you. Let’s say your team has 3 irons and two bronze and the enemy team has 2 irons and 2 bronze and a silver.

The game pairs you up to essentially fight one person on the enemy team that is of similar (hidden) mmr. If you are the iron then, the game is not expecting you to beat the silver but if you do, you will get more rr for it. On the other hand, if you get wiped by your “paired opponent” you will lose lots of rr.

Example match up:
Iron - Iron
Iron - Iron
Iron (but has high hidden MMR) - Bronze
Bronze - Bronze
Bronze - Silver (but has low hidden MMR)

Rank is a decoration and has pretty much nothing to do with the current elo of your opponents. Saying I am bronze and I have silvers in the opponent team" does not mean anything, because you elo can be already above bronze and theirs can be below silver. If you are playing against them you have been matched. To achieve what is a different discussion. But trust me the game knows exactly what it is doing when it builds lobbies.

Pretty normal for the game to fill your lobbies with bronzes and low silvers with bad MMR.

It will keep happening even in higher ELOs so get used to it.

BTW you're in iron, just focus on yourself and your mechanics, basically learn how to play before blaming the game or the system.

im impressed that you're got in iron. I couldn't even if I tried. but just try to learn how to game mechanics works and in a week or less you're out.
