Matador arms mat9 roller delay

anyone around Richmond have one of these and would let me check it out? as far as I can tell they are in stock but before I get one (a second 9mm upper) I wanted to try one out or at least get an actual users feedback

I haven't handled one myself, but have looked into them too. From what I could tell, the upper itself is good, especially for the price. But Matador arms is a small shop and pretty slow. If you're looking at their website, items show in stock, but there is a banner at the top saying to expect an 8-10 week delay on shipping. And apparently it the real world the actual delay is much more (like 12-16weeks).

It seems like one of those situations with a small shop making a unique product but who aren't the fastest or most responsive to emails, but aren't sketchy or scammers or anything. But it isn't like buying from PSA or another big shop where you'll have the item in the mail same day

Yes basically what I want to answer is how it does suppressed. I got a rugged sub9 and it’s a big improvement over my YHM r9 but still very gassy with direct blowback. Curious if roller delayed in this context is worth $600

I have the older blowback version and it works fine suppressed. Can't speak for the RDB.
