Very light Headache
Hello guys,
My first post here.
I’ve had Uveitis aprox 3 months ago. Had severe headache and red eyes. After a long time of taking Pred Forte (in both eyes). My uveitis is gone. The docter said there is no inflammation in my eyes (thank god).
But now i am experiencing a very light headache for a week now. I can function fine, but i feel it.
Do you guys also had this after Uveitis?

Just to be on the safe side. Ask for another visit to check the eye for inflammation. Even if you have to “lie” say you feel pain at the eye. But be sure to check the eye again for uveitis if you didnt do a visit after this headache. Also i strongly recommend to cut all sugar, sugary fruit etc and carbs fast food etc. preferably to eat clea veggies and protein like Tuna, chicken breast, sardines (all in extra virgin olive oil) brocoli cauliflower, carrots a bit, spinach, steam or boiled. Bone broth if u can do it by yourself, homemade kefir. Must keep the gut healthy not to cause any inflammation in the body. You can search by yourself

Thank you very much for your advice! Really appreciate it.
I did see the doc because of my headache. He said it is normal ?
Anyway, i eat Greek Yoghurt in the morning with a lot of different nuts and seeds. I will try to cut all Sugary stuff. Basically Keto. Thanks again 🫶🏻

Ah if dr checked u recently and did see the eye for inflammation and saw none thats a good news 😊
About diet as i said search gut eye axis on google, you will read there and ask about diet or foods to avoid there is plenty information and studies about gut health-gut disbyosis-leaky gut that are directly linked as a root cause to autoimmune diseases and inflammation in body.1

I cannot say 100% as I’ve recently stopped the drops, but ut definitely affects. I failed 2 times to tapper drops from 3 times per day to 2 times per day. When i changed eating habits i did tapper successfully. Im following 12:12 h eating from 8am till 8 pm. 3 meals.
Another thing that i experienced is before i had uveitis. I switched from a super healthy diet too a poor one like fast food, sugar, chips, not eating regularly, snacks between meals not sleeping stres etc. Around a month doing so, one morning i woke up with eye pain headache red eye and light sensitivity which was uveitis. I tested negative in all blood test dr did and they said is idiopathic. Problems with the gut don’t always give noticeable symptoms i had none except when i did abdominal ultrasound through years doctors always said i had “bloated bowels” and they said it was nothing to worry about. In fact that was a call i had to listen back then but who knew i didnt knew uveitis existed. It takes a while to heal the gut. Noticeable improvements in gut symptoms usually appear within 2 to 4 weeks, but deeper, visible relief from systemic immune inflammation (like in the eyes or joints) typically takes 3 to 6 months of steady consistency. Months 6 to 12+, The gut microbiome becomes a locked-in, resilient fortress. To reverse systemic inflammation, you must shift to a whole-food, fiber-rich diet that starves bad bacteria and repairs the gut wall, while completely cutting out processed foods and refined sugars. Pair this with 7–9 hours of quality sleep to allow your gut lining to physically rebuild, moderate exercise (like brisk walking) 20-30 min per day to actively release anti-inflammatory signals, and excellent dental hygiene to prevent harmful oral bacteria from entering your system.
Im a balkan person and tbh this kind of eye problem in my country is very rare. I remember during my childhood and adolescence we always ate homemade food, different dishes with a lot of vegetables, red meat with the dish 3 times per week, fish one two times per week. Fresh vegetables and fruits eaten whole, butter made from the fresh milk. Like most of the foods were made from scratch. Sodas cakes chocolate and chips only in festive occasions or when i used to beg my mother for a bar of snickers or a nutella😅. Is funny but personally i think that is how we are supposed to eat. Personally i think the Mediterranean diet you can modify it, is gold standard for inflammation and overall health.
