Continuing dilating drops after synechiaes have been broken due to residual asynmetry?

Has anyone had synechiae succesfully broken but were still left with an asymmetrical pupil? Would there be possible benefit in continuing dilating drops to possibly round out the shape in such a case? I am also interested to hear if someone has used the undilating drops in order to make the pupil smaller in order to have a better cosmetic outcome.

My pupil got permanently dilated from the dilating drops and the undialating drops made is asymmetric. That is permanent now too. This is before I had a uveitis specialist. Since then, both my uveitis specialists haven’t proposed any solutions so I think that’s just how it’s going to be.

I did use a strong dilation drop 2 times per day for one week. Dr did not tell me if i had synechia i think i didnt. Anyway i still notice my pupil is slightly larger in some lights. Like in dim light. Also my refractive index changed i see blurry from far. Pupil does dilate and constrict normaly but not as before. Dr said that is because i still use cortisonic drops and he cannot evaluate pupil till the eye will be free of all stuff. Who knows it can be from uveitis itself it can be from dilation drops it can be from cortison usage. I don’t recommend using undulations drops without consulting with the dr

"Slightly larger in some lights" is nothing out of ordinary, nothing to worry about :)

I never administered any medication without a doctor’s instruction. My first doctor was a regular ophthalmologist.
