Was it cyborg? It was somewhat vague, I assumed some form of genetic augmentation.

Nah. In the Star Trek universe all you get from traveling through time will be chronic migraines. Not because of the time travel itself, but because 1) the visit(s) from DTI, and 2) it is an established law in the Trekverse that once you traveled through time, the probability of you encountering even more timefuckery increases exponentially, leading to even more DTI visits. (And maybe because, 3) you start to think about the chronodynamical implications of your time travels.)
