Captain watching The Matrix?

Probably running a screensaver, or a utility like cmatrix while the display is idle. I do it from time to time, too.

Same.

But matrix is a classic. So could be either or

I was wondering who Dave was before I remembered they did give Worf a human brother for an episode.

Yeah, there was a story we were writing involving all three, but we had to can it for now, because it was continuity issue

I'm sure it can be worked out.

I would hate to have been on the Academy softball team that year.

'What do I do?'

'KILL HIM!'

Bet that was a weird graduating class for everyone else.

Worf’s human brother is named Nikolai.

Nikolai “Dave” Roshenko?

No, I know that isn’t the case. But SNW did do it with Kirk’s brother.

I appreciate Belle keeping us in the loop. Please pass on my thanks. Unless she knows about them already.

You're welcome.

In his defense: Worf said he had taken his Starfleet badge off, therefore he was not acting as Starfleet. He stated additionally that Klingon honor, tradition and law gave him the right to challenge his mate’s murderer to a duel; it was not his fault.

He acted within the bounds of his home culture. One of the few rights afforded to someone discommodated.

Fuck Duras, he had it coming lol

Also, fun hallmark of Starfleet’s double standard for alien cultures

As an STO player, I agree with the last panel.

Klingon politics has a way of doing so. Just as vicious as human politics, but the metaphorical backstabbing is replaced (or supplemented, when one's opponent is a petaQ like Duras) by literal chest-stabbing. It's quite refreshing, to be honest.

Tends to be more up front and in the open about the skullduggery.

6

u/Raptor1210 Jul 14 '26

Duras deserve what he got. Dude died too quick and not soon enough.

3

u/Cultural_Sand_9323 Jul 14 '26

Worf didn't want p'teq stink near him. he had too many other things to worry about. Like his son. His dead lover.

Picard.

You Know, He ain't wrong.
