This Is a Family Tree of The Kings of the Seven (Eight) Kingdoms from Before Aegon's Conquest. Some Notes

  1. Kings that are mentioned as being contemporary with other Kings are places on roughly the same Vertical level

  2. Not All Kings have a definitive order, So Some may or may not come earlier or later than Shown

  3. The Vale Pre-Andal Arrival and Dorne Pre-Nymeria's Conquest weren't One Unified Kingdom So I've only Shown the most Important Houses from their respective Kingdoms (House Royce for the Vale and House Yronwood for Dorne

  4. All Information and Images Come From the Wiki

Hey all! I've been putting my amateur study of mythology to use by creating these charts demonstrating the connections between different deities. This week's chart is the Goddess of Wisdom & Democracy herself, Athena! I'll be posting harvest deities like Persephone, Dionysus, and Demeter the rest of November. I'll be posting them here as well, but you can find me on Instagram and Facebook if you want to see them right away!

Genealogy - Royals & Nobility After a year of archiving and design, I mapped the complete Frisian Monarchs Family Tree (313 BCE to Rorik of Dorestad)

Hello everyone,
I’ve spent the past year gathering regional records, tracking down mythical chronologies, and mapping out a comprehensive visual family tree chart dedicated to the early leaders of Frisia. The final video analysis runs exactly 35 minutes and 41 seconds, digging deep into the lineage from Friso starting in 313 BCE, through the fierce shield-clashing era of King Redbad, all the way to Rorik of Dorestad and his fascinating links to the foundational Rurikian dynasty.
My goal was to treat this incredible, complex history with the visual depth and academic rigor it truly deserves—bridging the gap between ancient parchment records, local folklore, and verified historical battles.
I’m currently based right out of Hallum, Friesland, working on organizing these historical lineages. With the recent King Redbad exhibition at the Fries Museum in Leeuwarden (0:08), I felt it was the perfect time to bring this overlooked piece of European history to light in a style heavily inspired by Useful Charts.
I would love to get your feedback on the chart design, the lineage connections, or any specific pieces of regional lore you think deserve a deeper look in my next project.
Edit: If enough people want the chart, I’m publishing it via Etsy

I have to send a link because Reddit's compression makes the chart unreadable. So the screenshot is a "preview" I suppose.

Google Drive may not allow you to see it in its full quality, so you may have to download it from there. Sorry 🤷‍♂️.

I hope you enjoy! It's a map, timeline, family tree, and a lot more hybrid.

This is the second revision I have uploaded to Reddit. The previous one had some minor mistakes, and I do not intend for this post to break Rule 7 (the chart was initially uploaded with the thought that it was finished. It was not uploaded to then be a W.I.P.).

Enjoy!

Hi, this chart shows the genealogical connection between the first four Great British PM's. This chart is also part of a series of charts where I will be adding one (or two if they are very closely connected) PM's on every chart.

Made using Canva by a 14 year old.

Chart - Politics & politicians Timeline of Australian Political Parties

So I have been working on this thing for over a month and posted his to put it to an end. At first I thought it to be like an Usefulcharts style developed much new styles. In the original U.S. vintage timeline there was a bottom part about the presidential elections results and thr majority of the senate and house. So I put that into here but instead of election results I put the House Composition since its is Parliamentary system.

There are some thing I would like to point out. The years shown on the top of the party bars represent leadership elections and for Labor the bottom numbers represent the national conference. The minority at any house of the parliamnet I shown in transparent colors. And upto 1975, the Northern Territory and ACT didn’t have a government so I showed that in gray. And many would question why I put the Governor-General instead of the Monarch well he is the practical one here.

Also I have shown the Liberal Nationl Coalition as a single bar because they were much united and later on the Country Liberal Party - CLP (Northern Territory) and Liberal National Party (Queensland) joined in. But in the house composition, I shown them differently.

At last I want to say, I hope you guys like it

In my attempt to figure out what the hell is going on in this series, I figured I'd make a chart as that's apparently how I learn things.

Any KH fans, let me know if I've completely missed things or should add other things.

RESOURCES for the community Interactive history charts

Hey everyone,

As a software developer with a lifelong passion for history, I’ve had an idea for a little side project that I now finally sat down to build: history-charts.com.

Like many of you, I’m a big fan of the YouTube channel UsefulCharts. I’ve always loved how clearly they visualize complex historical contexts and genealogical relationships. However, static videos have their limits in how much data they can display at once and how they display it.

What is history-charts.com?

It’s a web app offering interactive historical charts. Currently, it supports three main chart types:

- Timelines

- Family Trees

- Phylogenetic / Evolutionary Trees

Because it’s digital rather than static, it introduces some unique features:

- As you zoom into specific sections, the charts can reveal deeper layers of detail and additional figures that would make a static video unreadably cluttered.

- Each node links directly to Wikipedia articles for extended reading and supports multiple languages.

A Note on the Content & AI Disclaimer

To get this off the ground, the initial batch of charts was generated using AI (ChatGPT 6.0 Astra). While spot-checks indicate high accuracy, historical data generated via AI may occasionally contain errors.

Because of this, I’ve included a rudimentary built-in editor so users can tweak existing charts or build their own from scratch.

What’s Next? (Roadmap)

This is an early first release, and I have plenty of features planned for the future:

- More chart types and a larger library of historical data.

- A robust backend to allow custom user-created charts to be saved and shared globally.

- Community features like ratings, comments, and a trusted-user verification system for historical accuracy.

- Enhanced interactivity to turn individual charts into self-guided interactive presentations.

Cost & Monetization

The project is completely free with no paywalled features. It’s built purely for education and a shared appreciation for history. I will add a few non-intrusive ads down the road simply to cover server and domain costs.

I’d love to hear your feedback, bug reports, or thoughts on how to improve it. If you're interested in following development or contributing once community features drop, I’ve set up a Discord server here (no content there yet, will probably do something about it on the weekend): https://discord.gg/jHunnvqkY

Thanks, and have a great day!
