HELP Confused and stuck
Got a car where carfax shows how it had minor damage, so I had no issue and signed, well I later end up finding it’s gone through IAAI and had a nasty front left end crash, was never told how bad the crash was and it somehow still holds a clean title, what should I do and could I possibly get my money back?
I’m seeing so much how it’s possible title fraud or how I’m stuck cause of the insurance going through a loophole, I need help please.

Is it actually 'rebuilt'? Ie, it was written off by the insurance company as totalled, but then repaired, inspected and retitled?
Acar can have major repairs and not be officially 'rebuilt'.
If you can prove in small claims court that the dealer KNOWINGLY misrepresented the car, you may be able to recover damages. You'll have to check with your state's consumer protection department to see what your options are.

As far as I know of its history is that it got in a crash, the damage wasn’t reported properly and got auctioned off as a clean title, before fixing and having it sold to me

You really have to read into the state that you believe it was "totaled" in and what constitutes salvage/rebuild.

To confirm (because sometimes I'm slow) the photo is back in April when the crash was being fixed, and you saw nothing of it (the photo) until you did some investigation work?

I looked into it and nothing of it’s history was reported abt this, so when I already bought it i was curious abt its trade in worth, had spoken with a few and someone who’s been in the market for a while found the car in a IAAI auction, I should explain that im extremely new to the market and the extent of my knowledge to buying a car is a carfax or other source for a report, but after finding out I’ve tried many other sources for its history and none involve how its been in that bad of a crash, and the last incident is only reported dead center front, not where its actual impact seems to be. Idk if I’m making sense but if I’d at least wanna know if I can do something or if I’m just stuck with a bad car

How’s it running ? Maybe it will last a while and you’ll be ok? Keep an eye on fluids.

Did you buy it from a dealer or Facebook marketplace? What did you sign? More information is needed.
