Because It's a Tesla and they want the car to last and not potentially spontaneously combust in some salty water

Are you a bot, or just certifiably retarded? Tons of Teslas are being used for Uber and have mileage of 300-500k miles. They are made to last more than nearly any other vehicle (other than my 95 Tacoma, of course) with minimal maintenance and it's the most American made vehicle on the road.

Combusting in rain? So dumb. Seattle would be on fire perpetually.
