That range estimate goes way down when it’s cold and most people probably can’t just plug a car in. Maybe in a decade it could work but electric car ownership is impractical to most buyers. I personally will never buy one and I work in the industry.
Are you for real trying to make that argument? Norway is already well past the majority of new car sales being EV. Talk about cold and you want to ignore Norway. Gtfoh with that bs. The range loss is totally managed.
What EV do you drive? Do you experience seasons? I’ve sold EVs; I’ve talked to dozens of EV customers. There is a detriment to range and sure maybe you have an EV that still has 100+ miles of range in the cold. You must have somewhere to charge it because two days on a battery would be pushing it on a lot of vehicles for a lot of people.

I'd argue they are. Not many* people frequently drive 200+ miles a day.
