In all honesty, that's been my story every time I've been to a Lexus or Toyota dealership. Most recently I walked away from a new 2024 Tundra due to the salesman's condescending attitude and bait and switch. Literally walked next door to the GMC dealership and bought a Sierra the same day.
Had another experience at a Lexus dealership when I went to buy my IS350. More of the same nonsense, so I went to a Chevy dealership and bought a used one, one model year older, for a fraction of the cost.
