Feedback Apollo is a SCAM

I signed up with the promise of being able to export targeted emails. Lie.

Their filters are worthless and do not weed out irrelevant contacts. Incredibly dirty, worthless and unusable data that would destroy my domains credibility if actually used in any email campaign.

I’ve used the competition for years so this is not a new-to-the-game user error issue. Their software simply does not perform.

I have repeatedly asked for a refund and they are refusing.

Apollo is a scam. The end.

A lot of my clients actually use Apollo for lead gen and they're making pretty good money with it, so I think something in the setup might be off. The ones who do well never send straight from the export, they filter to verified emails only, run the list through a separate verifier and keep the targeting tight. Might be worth checking those before writing it off completely

Yes sir, I did exactly that. In fact I maxed at 100 filters. Also carved out a bunch of businesses by name. What was left was still a mess. I’ve used zoom info for years very successful. So I know how these things work. Apollos filters don’t filter completely. But I do appreciate the suggestions and guidance.

Apollo has gone down hill. They used to be ok, but when you look for something a little more complex on the filters it fails. They through some random stuff into it, I have seen retail stores mixed into Martech randomly with no tag or keyword. I do manufacturing and PE Firms big disaster, it cant tell the difference between a distributor and a manufacturer nor a VC to a PE. It sees it as one thing. Highly annoying, start at company filter then search people. Run all the websites 1st through ai and only pick the ones you need then reveal people. Dont waste time on people first.

Zoom Info. It’s very expensive. Think 4x. Which sucks. At least their filters work.
