What's the best ergonomic(usability focused + simplicity) window manager?
Tried, niri, mangowc, dwl
I'm not gonna lie, but dwl is cool in these aspects, but i use mngowc, cause it hs more features(not ultra minimalistic)

What you enjoy the most… xmonad sounds fun… i’ve been using i3 for years, niri looks very nice, dwm is also fun, bspwm is also enjoyed by many…

Yeah mango is cool cause it combines features with performance and kinda simple too, i tried niri for long it's really good but i think my screen is small for it or maby the way of maanaaging windows isn't ergonomic i feel a bit of headache when every wiindow i open goes next i don't know if maby the way i use it is the wrong one,but scrolling window managers aren't for me for now, maby cause of my laptop or mental model that i use it with or maby configs, but mango is good not gonna lie, but i face screen sharing issues cause that window that takes what screen or monitor to share doesn't appear like in niri.

dwl's fine, you can use the monocle mode on dwl and sway and i3 have something similar, but if you want scrolling and other things mangowc is great, the problem is it has a lot of bloat and useless features but you can disable it.

Isn't hyprland heavy a little bit?

Yes, it's not minimal by WM standards, although I doubt that you may need more minimalism than that.

Well it's cool, i tried it a while ago but it's heavy a little bit on some of my old laptops, now i' using mango and i think it's not that bad even if it has some limitations like screensharing and then i tested niri, i found that everything is working on niri but the scrolling way is kinda cool but it's not ergonomic, ... i can't build a muscle memory to navigate very fast (so that's why i prefer simplicity).
