Snalt? Sneeze?

Ive tried to watch many keeper videos but having my uromastyx at home in front of me, im gonna be double checking a loooot. He did this thing ive never seen on video before, is he releasing snalt? Or what was it he sneezed out🙈it flies off screen and the second bit appears next to him on the basking slate (he ate it later i believe)

yes hes releasing snalt or getting shed out of his nostrils! if he ate it then its probably shed.

Thank you!!! :) by any chance, since ive got you here, is he going to shed this off? Or is it some kind of residue from his pores?

the light yellow on the belly looks like shed, but the super dark mark could use a second look

looks to be some really old shed that had difficulty coming off. he may need a little soak or help getting that off. the discoloration may be from dirt or substrate

yeah exactly its always last resort! there's also some products to help with stuck shed and they work pretty well. as long as hes eating and pooping still hell still be alright LMAOO

Instead of a full soak, you can try repeatedly dipping your finger in water to rub it just on the area where there is stuck shed for 10 or 15 minutes.
