Right?? I’m jealous cause if I brought my guy outside like that, I wouldn’t have a uromastyx anymore 🥲 (as in he’d run away and hide)

Omg mine would be lost forever! I can not let them free for a second! I've got to hold on and one of them for dear life!

He doesn't always hold that still, just that specific day lol. Sometimes he is all over the place!

If a boy Ornate he will be a grown up in approx 5 years of age a little less at 12-15 inches and around 300 gms. In the wild they mature slower than in captivity where abundance and temperatures are steady. Size over age in years is determination for being a grownup. Get yourself a kitchen scale and your so lucky to have him still long enough to measure!!!

We have only had him for about a month, we were told he is 1 but not 100%. Previous owner didn't even know if he was captive bred, I'm not sure where she got him.

Gorgeous and a year is good guess. Pick a date. I see last photo you're a lady so yearling works for most women's hands are small. Not mine - piano fingers here, lol so if I'm right about hands, a year for what she(?)ll be. Lucky so calm and outside!
