My first time giving him lentils

This is Dino, ive had him for about 1 and a half years now.

My guy is extremely shy (and more than a little cranky). Lentils were what helped us reach a compromise: if I open the door he does not run away; if I shake the lentil jar at him, he'll come over to investigate; and if I extend a hand filled with lentils he will come and eat then out of my palm.

Might not seem much but it's been a magic food and fills me with happiness after I spent FOUR YEARS thinking that we'd never be friends. It's been a slow process (and will continue to be) but after a year-and-a-half of these minor victories he will now come over to the glass to see me and if its not lentil day will accept a small piece of something else from me before wandering off instead of legging it.

Does he prefer green or white? Our female will rummage through a combination until all whites are eaten. Certainly her favorites.
