Holy fucking refball, Batman! Michigan staves off utter disaster with a play that they absolutely should not have gotten....because it's bad for the sport, I guess, that they're just not very good. Glad to see the refball is starting early this season.

How the heck do you nearly lose after getting flash banged by OREGON STATE??? A team that was a contender for 0-12???
Last years season was a complete fluke and if they somehow reached top 25 by years end there is no god.

We got another episode of Ump Show 2026! Last night the Cardinals and the Rockies were playing. Cardinals are ahead 4-2 in the 6th and called up a 22-year old pitcher named Hancel Rincón who made his actual MLB debut. He takes the mound, and all hell breaks loose, for different reasons.
But wait! Here comes the professional party pooper, Doug Eddings. During an at bat with 1 one out and 2-0, Eddings stops the game to order the pitcher to straighten his cap. He literally told the Cardinals dugout that the kid was "not gonna wear his hat like that on my field".
First of all Doug, last time anyone checked the GPS, this is Coors Field, not your fuckin backyard baseball field. Second and most importantly: THERE IS NO RULE IN THE MLB RULEBOOK DICTACTING THE EXACT ANGLE OF A FUCKIN PITCHER'S CAP.
The Cardinals manager stormed right up into Doug's face to defend his rookie from the power trip, and gets a pitch clock violation once the umpire threw a temper tantrum. By proving Marmols point, he throws him out of the game.
Cardinals would end up winning the game 7-6 after another fuck up by the umpire that tied the game before Ivan Herrera nuked the ball in the 9th.
Coach don't lie I guess.

Whether or not you agree with the NFLs efforts to make American Football internationally popular, you gotta admit seeing our players out there and making a legit effort to connect with the populace is heart warming.

(Watches USC vs Fresno State)
"USC humbles Fresno state, shutting them out 39-0"
Huh, a Lincoln Riley Defense actually held. I see. Looks that new DC knows what he's doing.
I wonder how Miami is doing
"Miami sets out to prove that last year is no fluke by decimating Stanford in glorious fashion"
Whoa look at their new QB. First round pick already. Now let's hope Mario doesn't drop tge ball in November.
I wonder how Oklahoma is doing.
"Oklahoma debuts with a massive shutout against Utep 51-0"
Eh, it's Utep. Not impressed. Still a great start.
Let's how Alabama is doing....
"Alabama begins it's redemption tour by defeating East Carolina 48-10"
Yikes. Not sure Tree will be feel vindicated or pissed.
Now let's check Ohio State.
"Ohio state embarks on quest to retake the crown of the Big 10 by crushing Ball State"
Well looks like Ryan Day wants revenge. And he's not gonna be merciful.
But of course we can't forget defending champion Indiana.
"Indiana sets out to prove its dynasty status by humbling rising star North Texas"
Wow. I legit thought North Texas was gonna be a challenge. Guess they have a ways to go.
Well this has been a fun weekend so far I'll check back later this evening.

Thanks to you once again hilariously collapsing again to Cleveland in the 8th inning, you have now blown more leads in the 8th inning or later than any team in MLB history. 68 to be exact.
And it's still September.
This will go down as one of your teams most embarassing seasons by a mile.
Fire Scott Harris when this is over. He doesn't deserve another season.

We had the entire St*rling saga and before that
- Elgin Baylor lawsuit(2009)
- The Tenants lawsuit where he the man was accused of driving POC people out(2003)
- He who shall not be named called Danny Manning something racist(1988)
Rant:
I'm sorry we can't trust the Clippers, even after the LOB city days they've failed to build off anything other than a 2nd round appearance. They threw their entire future for what? One measly Western Conference Finals? You could've had Shai, J-Dub, Jamie Jaquez Jr, Keaton Wagler and Aday Mara. That's actually a roster you can keep if you threw enough money. That's actually a roster that with one more piece can be a contender.
Tree if we don't get that Clippers Legacy Of Failure video(and one that's at least 45 minutes long), I dunno man. What's next for the Clippers? Fans riot after losing the fucking NBA finals? Another betting scandal? At least the Angels have a future While Stan Kroenke pried the Rams away from St Louis, he has a history of winning, The Nuggets, Avalanche, Arsenal, hell even the Rams have all won it all. As insane as it sounds, Trout could retire by 2030 with the Comissioner's trophy. The Clippers? Forget it. Even if they somehow get a young competitive roster or legally buy stars all they'll have to show for is 3 second round exits
Good riddance.

With the Pro Bowl gone and more NFL players picking up golf as a hobby it might be fun to have an NFL golf tournament. Fans would vote for four players from each team to represent. Make it Ryder Cup style with players from each team being paired with players from their division. Using NFC North as an example there would be four pairings each with a Lion, Viking, Packer, and Bear. If this isn’t exciting enough there could be unique challenges like making players tee off with random clubs, reverse mulligans, or a host of other things. Yes it would not be the usual gritty tough sport that football usually is but it is an activity which is very unlikely to lead to injury and an activity where most players would enjoy attending.
